Boglárka G.-Tóth (Boglárka Gazdag-Tóth) is a senior research fellow at the Department of Computer Optimization, SZTE. She graduated in informatics at the University of Szeged in 2000 and received her PhD in 2007 from the University of Almería, Spain. Her research interests pertain to global optimization with reliable methods applied to the solution of location problems. She has 61 scientific publications with more than 1,000 citations. She is a member of the editorial board of the Central European Journal of Operation Research and the Applied Mathematical Letters (in Hungarian), managing editor of Acta Cybernetica. She is a board member of the European Working Group of Location Analysis (EWGLA) since 2018, vice-president of the Hungarian Society of Operation Research (HORS) since 2021, and secretary of the Operations Research Committee of Section III of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. In 2007 she was awarded the UPS-SOLA Dissertation Award of the INFORMS’ Section on Location Analysis, the Farkas Gyula Memorial Prize of the Bolyai János Mathematical Society. In 2009 she was a finalist of the EURO Doctoral Dissertation Award, 2009–2012 she was a Bolyai Fellow. In 2017 she was awarded the NATE Women in Science Excellence Award and in 2018 the Rapcsák Tamás Prize.
