Structure of HYA

Since May 2020, HYA membership has been organized into standing committees (working groups). Members are free to join any number of committees at their choice; their membership lasts for a year, and may be renewed. Each member is expected to participate in the work of at least one committee. Each committee is managed by one or two coordinators elected by the members for one year, and their mandate can also be renewed. For the specific duties of the five standing committees, see the respective descriptions below.

Tasks:
  • Maintenance, management and editing of HYA website (e.g. data sheets for new members, Hungarian and English website versions) and its official social media platforms (e.g. Facebook page, Wikipedia, Wikidata, LinkedIn page, etc.).
  • Collecting, editing and publishing news to be released on HYA website and other official platforms (e.g. Facebook, LinkedIn).
  • Promotion of HYA and its permanent programmes; member recruitment.
  • Coordination of the communications tasks of HYA committees.
