Success stories of early-career researchers – Life paths and achievements

Launched by the Hungarian Young Academy in 2026, this monthly interview series will feature outstanding Hungarian early-career researchers. Our goal is to explore the personal stories behind their work and successes. Our interviewees will talk candidly about their professional and personal journeys, the turning points in their careers, their sources of inspiration, and the everyday challenges of their life as researchers.

Expected release of the next part of the series:  1 September 2026

László Molnár: “Research is a profession that can be learnt: surely, it requires talent and effort, but it is not the exclusive territory of natural-born geniuses”

Gabriella B. Kiss: “Efficient time management is the key to many things”

Tamás Faragó: “Perseverance matters a lot. It is often the last try – or the one after the very last – that will succeed”
