Recognition for Hungarian Young Academy member

Gergely Toldi, a member of the Hungarian Young Academy, has been awarded the “André Mischke YAE Prize for Science and Policy” of the Young Academy of Europe. The prize is awarded to early- or mid-career researchers who have made an outstanding contribution to the key objectives of the Young Academy of Europe through their scientific and science policy activities and achievements.

6th Young Researchers’ Forum at Hungarian Academy of Sciences – with video

What challenges and obstacles does a young researcher’s life involve? What would scientists need the most at the beginning of their career? And what opportunities are available for them at present? Such were the questioned explored by the participants of the 6th Young Researchers’ Forum. The findings of the 2021 survey conducted by the Hungarian Young Academy were presented, and the importance of being active in calls for proposals was underlined. Bolyai Mentoring Programme 2022 – Call for applications

In 2022, the Hungarian Young Academy once again announces its mentoring programme to support applicants for the János Bolyai Postdoctoral Research Scholarship. Applicants selected for mentoring will receive advice on improving their applications in two consultation sessions. The aim of the mentoring is to provide mentorees with independent professional feedback and advice, even for long-term career planning. Applicants who will have successfully obtained a Bolyai Scholarship will commit to mentor future applicants in the next round of the mentoring programme.
