Full report of MTA–HYA survey on Hungarian researchers now released
The detailed report of the 2025 researcher survey conducted jointly by the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and the Hungarian Young Academy is now available in its integrity (in Hungarian), providing a comprehensive overview of the situation of researchers in Hungary and those with ties to the country.

Results of joint MTA–HYA research assessing the situation of Hungarian researchers presented amid great interest
The preparation and implementation of the large-scale questionnaire survey took a year, and the first results have now been presented to the public by the scientists leading the research. The research offers a comprehensive overviews of the workplace situation of Hungarian researchers, their job satisfaction, their plans for the future, and their opinions about the Academy.

HYA member featured together with Katalin Karikó at event hosted by Embassy of Hungary in Berlin
Following Katalin Karikó’s inspirational talk, FKA member Kata Horváti participated in a discussion with the Nobel Prize laurate researcher at the STEM Talk event organised with young German and Hungarian researchers as part of the Berlin Science Week.

What is the use of multidisciplinarity? – HYA conference at Hungarian Science Festival
On 12 November 2025, the Hungarian Young Academy once again held an all-day event to celebrate the Hungarian Science Festival. The morning session, entitled “Multidisciplinary Research, or How Research Fields Find Each Other,” focused on how distant academic fields can be connected.

Meet the “fifth-year” HYA members – HYA tradition continued at Hungarian Science Festival
