Youth in Academia – New research report on the situation of researchers and academics under 45

The Hungarian Young Academy (HYA), in cooperation with fellow researchers from the Library and Information Centre of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, the Centre for Economic and Regional  Studies and Corvinus University of Budapest, conducted an extensive and in-depth survey among researchers and academics aged 45 and under in autumn 2021. The resulting detailed research report was published jointly by HYA and the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, in collaboration with the MTA Library and Information Centre.

Recognition for Hungarian Young Academy member

Gergely Toldi, a member of the Hungarian Young Academy, has been awarded the “André Mischke YAE Prize for Science and Policy” of the Young Academy of Europe. The prize is awarded to early- or mid-career researchers who have made an outstanding contribution to the key objectives of the Young Academy of Europe through their scientific and science policy activities and achievements.

6th Young Researchers’ Forum at Hungarian Academy of Sciences – with video

Such were the questioned explored by the participants of the 6th Young Researchers’ Forum. The findings of the 2021 survey conducted by the Hungarian Young Academy were presented, and the importance of being active in calls for proposals was underlined.
