Orsolya Dömötör is a research fellow at the Department of Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry, University of Szeged. Her research interest focuses on the biospeciation of anticancer pharmaceutical substances, primarily metal complexes. She investigates the aqueous stability of these compounds, their physical-chemical behaviour and their interaction with blood serum components. She is especially well-experienced in spectrofluorometric techniques and characterization of interactions with human serum albumin. She is the author of 31 international scientific papers and has 312 independent citations. Her scientific contribution has been recognized several times (Junior Prima Award, 2017; Polányi Mihály Award for Young Researchers, 2017; Award of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences for Young Researchers, 2016). She teaches analytical chemistry and inorganic chemistry classes for chemists and pharmacy students.
