The relay will start at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, 13 June 2026, from the parking lot of the Pál-völgyi Cave in Budapest, which will also serve as the base and finish line for the “race”. Runners will take turns day and night on the designated tracks to collect the kilometres. According to the schedule, the final runner is expected to cross the finish line around noon on Sunday, 14 June, completing the 200-kilometre course. With this run, we are not only celebrating the bicentenary of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA) but also the solidarity and cooperation of the young researchers’ community.
