Funding calls

In the case of outbound visits, the combined conditions for applying under this call are as follows:
the applicant
a) is a member of the public association of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA),
b) has a recommendation from one of the MTA’s scientific sections,
c) has an existing professional relationship, as evidenced by a letter of invitation issued by the partner.
In the case of visits to Hungary, support for researchers and administrative staff nominated by a foreign partner institution with which the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA) has a bilateral agreement shall be provided in accordance with the provisions of the relevant bilateral cooperation agreement and supplementary protocol. Applications for support for visits are based on notifications from the MTA’s international partner organisations. No further application is required in such cases.
