Young Academies Science Advice Structure (YASAS)
May 28, 2024 6:08 pmFounded in 2020, YASAS (Young Academies Science Advice Structure) is the first official platform to facilitate cooperation between young academies in Europe. YASAS brings together a number of young academies, including national academies of young researchers from Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Hungary, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Scotland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the Netherlands, as well as international organisations such as the Young Academy of Europe and the Global Young Academy, but membership is also open to other European young academies. The platform aims to deepen the dialogue between European young academies and to amplify the voice of young researchers in European science policy and scientific advice.
The Hungarian Young Academy has been a member of YASAS since 2020.
