Event
As one of the regular organisers of MTA’s Hungarian Science Festival, the Hungarian Young Academy will hold its two half-day events on Wednesday, 12 November, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Ceremonial Hall of MTA’s Palace.
From 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., under the theme of “Multidisciplinary Research, or How Research Fields Find Each Other”, talks will be delivered on the fruitful cooperation between distant scientific fields, followed by a roundtable discussion providing an opportunity for an informal exchange of ideas. Presented for the first time ever, the Fekete Zoltán Young Mentor Awards will also be handed over during the morning event.

From 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., also in the Ceremonial Hall of the MTA Palace, the programme will continue with presentations by “future alumni” HYA members, who will report on their various research areas, once again demonstrating the diversity of the membership of the Hungarian Young Academy. The title of the event is “Brought to you by the members of the Hungarian Young Academy – reports on various fields of research”.
