On Thursday 22 January 2026 at 2:00 p.m., HYA will have the honour to host a talk by Bianka Brezóczki, a doctoral student living with a physical disability from the Department of Clinical Psychology and Addictology at ELTE.

After last year’s roaring success, the Hungarian Young Academy is inviting all to out-of-the-ordinary advent preparations on 17 December at Budapest University of Technology and Economics.

The next occasion to meet Katalin Karikó in person will be at a special event held on 5 November at the Hungarian Embassy in Berlin with HYA participation.

The Hungarian Young Academy was once again offered given the opportunity to organise two half-day events at this year’s extraordinary, festive Hungarian Science Festival, which this time will focus on the exciting possibilities of interdisciplinary collaboration and the diversity of research conducted by HYA members.

In 2025 once again, Hungarian young researchers are preparing numerous exciting programmes for those interested.

On 22 May 2025, the Hungarian Young Academy is hosting the next edition of the “mental well-being” series. The invited lecturers of the online event will be psychologists Dr. Tímea Olajos and Noémi Oláh.

This year again, the Hungarian Young Academy is inviting those interested to attend two sessions of exciting lectures and roundtable discussions in the morning and in the afternoon of 25 November 2024.

In addition to the central event organised by the Hungarian Young Academy during the Festival of Hungarian Science, HYA members play an active role in various other events of MTÜ.
