In connection with the activity and approach of the Hungarian Young Academy, the Young Researchers’ Community was established at the University of Pannonia at the initiative of two active HYA members. At the inaugural workshop, Mihály Pósfai, Head of the University of Pannonia’s Scientific Excellence Network and János Abonyi, Rector of the University of Pannonia welcomed the nearly 30 young researchers. The first workshop of the Young Researchers’ Community was concluded with the identification of the main objectives of the organisation, and the Scientific Excellence Network website will continuously report on their progress. The HYA encourages the formation of similar communities within universities, stressing the importance of collaboration and close communication.
