STEM TALK event in Berlin with Nobel Prize winner Katalin Karikó and with HYA contribution

The exhibition “Forever Forward – Katalin Karikó” is on display at the Embassy of Hungary in Berlin, where the Nobel Prize laureate will give a lecture on 10 November 2025, starting at 5:00 p.m. The lecture will be followed by a panel discussion with Hungarian and German researchers, co-organized by the Young Academy of Europe. The Hungarian Young Academy will be represented by Kata Horváti (HUN-REN Research Centre for Natural Sciences), whose field of research is peptide-based vaccines. Katalin Karikó’s scientific career is unusual, but her extraordinary dedication, scientific curiosity, and meticulous approach to reviewing the literature and handling research data constitute a major source of inspiration for the next generation of researchers. The event will be held in the framework of the Berlin Science Week. For a detailed programme, please click here. Please register for the event at the following e-mail address: science.ber@mfa.gov.hu.
