Workshop
In the course of their studies and research, most researchers are taught how to communicate their findings effectively only to the scientific community. However, they receive no guidance to popularize science in a way that is both high-standard and easy to understand, so they are left to their own devices to aquire and implement those skills.
In fact, the majority of scientists have virtually no information or experience whatsoever on how to best combat the spread of pseudoscientific views that are becoming increasingly noxious for society these days.
The workshop organized by the Hungarian Young Academy sought to explore these issues.
