It is extremely important for Hungarian science to be visible and successful at the international (and specifically, at the European) level, and an indicator of that can be successful participation in ERC calls for proposals.
However, submitting a grant application is becoming an increasingly demanding task. In the international context, young researchers receive assistance from numerous sources to help them put together strong applications. Based on the successful Czech model, we will now attempt to offer such assistance to Hungarian applicants as well.

The Hungarian Young Academy shares the organisers’ conviction that any researcher can benefit already from taking part in the application process and that a carefully prepared application can advance one’s career. We therefore encourage all young researchers to give some serious thought to this opportunity and, as a first step, come and attend this event.
