For the third year running, the Hungarian Young Academy has been organising a webinar series on equal opportunities to shed light on the situation, difficulties and opportunities for young researchers with physical disabilities. Our aim is to harmonize the efforts of researchers facing similar difficulties, gather ideas from the discussion and reflect on them collectively, as well as to foster communication between fellow researchers brought together by the event in order to promote their common goals.

The Hungarian Young Academy cordially invites all those interested in the topic to the third occasion of this webinar series, which will take place on 5 November 2024 (Tuesday) at 2:00 p.m. on Zoom. This time our invited speaker will be Márta Sarolta Deák who will talk about the everyday life of professors and researchers with a hearing loss. Her lecture will be followed by a 30-minute discussion – a perfect opportunity to ask questions, make comments and reflect on Márta’s thoughts.
