Her research interest covers the biochemical and organic chemical applications of mass spectrometry, structure determination of natural and synthetic (bio)molecules. She is the author of more than 50 papers which have received more than 700 citations so far. She was a Magyary Zolt\u00e1n Fellow (2006\u20132007) and the recipient of Bolyai (2011-2017) postdoctoral grants. Between 2007\u20132009, she was a Marie Curie Transfer of Knowledge Fellow at Philips Research Laboratories (Aachen, Germany). In 2017, she received the Premium Postdoctoral Research Grant of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. She was awarded the L\u2019Oreal-UNESCO For Women in Sciences Hungarian National Scholarship (2005), the Youth Awards of the MTA (2015), the Cornides Istv\u00e1n Award of the Mass Spectrometry Society of the Hungarian Chemical Society (2015) and the Promising Researcher Award of ELTE (2017).
