She defended her habilitation thesis in 2017, and since 2018, she has been working as an associate professor.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Her main research areas include the following fields: theory of functional equations, ordinary and partial difference equations, spectral analysis, and synthesis. She wrote 36 scientific papers, 1 book and 1 chapter in a book. She got 159 independent citations for her published works.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She regularly acts as a referee for more than 10 international scientific journals. Additionally, she writes reports for the two main databases: Mathematical Reviews and Zentralblatt. She is an editor of the <em>Journal of Applied Analysis<\/em>. She served six times as a scientific secretary at international conferences. Furthermore, since 2013 she has been the secretary of the Mathematical Working Group of MTA&#8217;s Regional Academic Committee in Debrecen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She has been awarded the following prizes to date: ISFE Medal in 2010 from the Scientific Committee of the Symposia, Prize of the L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Patai Foundation in 2010, G\u00e9za Gr\u00fcnwald Memorial Prize in 2011 and the Alexits Gy\u00f6rgy Prize in 2020.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She is married with a daughter (Hilda, 2015). <\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Eszter Gselmann (Eszter Nov\u00e1k-Gselmann) currently works at the Department of Analysis, University of Debrecen, where she began her career in 2009 as an assistant professor.
