She obtained her PhD in 2019 in the Doctoral Programme in Educational Sciences at the Doctoral School of Humanities, University of Debrecen. Her research primarily focuses on young people\u2019s health awareness as a dimension of non-academic achievement, examined through various pedagogical and psychological factors, with special emphasis on sport. In 2025 she obtained her habilitation in psychological sciences. She is the founder and head of the Sport Persistence Research Group at the University of Debrecen. She is a member of the Hungarian Educational Research Association (HERA) and the Hungarian Psychological Association (MPT). In addition, she is a senior researcher at the Center for Higher Education Research and Development (CHERD-H). She has been working at the University of Debrecen since 2019. Since the\u00a0 academic year of 2019\/2020, she has served as a mentor and lecturer in the talent development programme of the University of Debrecen (UD Talent), where she currently mentors undergraduate and graduate psychology students. In 2022 she joined the Cambridge University ReachSci Global Programme, serving as a local mentor during the summer of 2022, supporting university students from underrepresented groups in research communities, such as women in STEM and students with disabilities.\u00a0 She is the principal investigator of the NKKP Starting 2025 research project entitled \u201cThe Possibilities of Applying Soft Computing and Robot Psychology in the Development of Sport Persistence\u201d. In 2023 she was awarded the J\u00e1nos Bolyai Research Scholarship, and in 2026 she received the Academy Youth Award. She was also a scholarship holder of the Universitas Foundation in 2026, 2024, and 2021. In 2016 she received the National Talent Programme\u2019s Young Talents of the Nation Scholarship, and in 2014 the Pro Regione Scholarship.
