Ph.D. (Zsuzsanna \u00d6rd\u00f6gn\u00e9 Kolbert) is the leader of the MTA-SZTE &#8220;Lend\u00fclet&#8221; Plant NaNObiology Research Group at the Department of Plant Biology, University of Szeged. Her research focuses on the study of the relationship between the metabolism, signalling and hormonal and other signalling molecules (e.g. reactive oxygen species) crosstalk of reactive nitrogen species. Her special research interests lie in the investigation of the abiotic (e.g. drought) and biotic (e.g. fungal infection) stress relieving effects of nanomaterials releasing various reactive nitrogen species. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The number of her scientific publications is 155, and has more than 1800 citations. She is a member of the editorial board of <em>Journal of Plant Physiology,<\/em>\u00a0<em>Plant Cell Reports<\/em>, and <em>BMC Plant Biology<\/em>, and a guest editor of the <em>Journal of Experimental Botany<\/em>. She defended her Doctor of the Academy dissertation in 2024. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She is a member of the MTA Section of Agricultural Sciences (2016\u2013), vice-president of the Hungarian Society of Plant Biology (2006\u2013) and a member of the scientific committee of &#8220;Plant NO Club\u201d (2018). She was awarded\u00a0 the Magyary Zolt\u00e1n Postdoctoral Scholarship (2014\u20132015), the MTA Bolyai Scholarship (2016\u20132019), and the National E\u00f6tv\u00f6s Scholarship (2017). She was an awardee of the National Excellence Programm twice (2017, 2018). She has also received the HAS Bolyai Certificate (2020), the \u201cYoung Teacher of the Year\u201d at the University of Szeged (2020), and the Excellence Prize given by the Association of Hungarian Women in Science (2021).
