He performs experiments with stable and radioactive ion beams to study the nucleosynthesis of the isotopes heavier than iron and to increase the precision of stellar explosion models. He has more than 150 scientific publications, his h-index is 23. After he obtained his PhD at the University of Debrecen, he spent two years at INFN-LNS and an additional two years at RIKEN Nishina Center. He is the PI of several research proposals, OTKA and KAKENHI research grants.
