Dezs\u0151 Csupor<\/strong> is an associate professor at the Department of Pharmacognosy, University of Szeged. Since 2018, he has been the vice dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy. His research interest covers phytoanalytics, isolation and pharmacological investigation of bioactive metabolites of plants. He is the author of 57 research papers with an independent citation number of 543. His teaching activity includes Phytotherapy for pharmacy and medical students. He is the author and editor of several textbooks and books. He represented Hungary in the Committee for Herbal Medical Products of the European Medicines Agency for several years and is currently a member of the scientific board of the European Scientific Cooperative on Phytotherapy. He is also the president of the Medicinal Plant Section of the Hungarian Society for Pharmaceutical Sciences. Dezs\u0151 Csupor is the participant or holder of several research and R&D grants. He is devoted to popular science, is the founder, writer and editor of blogs, webpages and books focusing on the dissemination of science for public.
