She received her Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences in 2013 from the same university. Her main research interests cover organophosphorus, microwave and green chemistry including the synthesis of heterocyclic compounds by multicomponent reactions. She is the author of approximately 70 peer-reviewed scientific publications. She is a member of the editorial board of Heteroatom Chemistry. Her main research awards are the<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Women in Science Excellence Award, the Kajt\u00e1r-Holl\u00f3si Award for Organic Chemists and the J\u00e1nos Bolyai Research Scholarship<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, as well as the Bolyai+ Research Scholarship of the New National Excellence Programme of the Ministry of Human Capacities.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Erika B\u00e1lint is a research associate at the Department of Organic Chemistry and Technology, Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
